In July 2000, while in Phoenix I went to a park there. It was extremely hot -- I am still surprised I have survived the walk, but there were some pretty sights.

Pool (or was it a small lake?) happened to be full of fish. Though I should have used to it by now, it still amazed me. Especially as I saw how much garbage tourists threw into water.

By the lake, there is a picnic place and a small parking lot. Luckily park was not crowded.

I had to skip climbing the mountain but instead choose to look at some of the cactuses -- remind me of telephone pool. Some of them are hollow and small birds make nests inside.

Crown jewel of this park is its trees. And Palms... Moscow will never see this :)
